Asharqia Chamber in collaboration with Qaderon network organizes on Monday, April 25, 2016 the Forum "The role of establishments in the employment of persons with disabilities", with the participation of the Ministry of Labor and Human Resources Fund.
The forum which will host representatives of the human resources department of theestablishments reviews several axes, most prominently : the rights of persons with disabilities in work, and creating a supportive work environment for people with disabilities, and the mechanism of employment of persons with disabilities.
The forum which will be held from 10 am until 12:00 at the headquarters of the main Chamber in Dammam,discusses the right of persons with disabilities to work on equality basis with the others. This right includes giving them the opportunity to earn a living in a work they choose or accept freely in in a labor market and work environment that are opened to persons with disabilities and embrace them and facilitate their involvement in them.
Participants talk about protecting the rights of persons with disabilities in a fair and convenient conditions of work, including equal opportunities and equal income, work conditions that are guaranteed and healthy, and the importance of avoiding discrimination in employment conditions, hiring and work, and continuity of employment, career advancement, and enabling them to benefit from the specialized and training programs and the providing the facilitating accommodation to persons with disabilities in the workplace.
